:.Consulting & Advisory Services

We provide consulting and other business services to international universities and governments as well as to corporations and non-profit organizations throughout the world.  These training-related and business-related services assist our partners in making the necessary and recommended front-end analysis and preparations that jump-start efforts to provide training services to potential clients in the business community.   

1.     Consulting/Advisory Services for University and Government Partners:

• resources inventory – assess resources needed to effectively administer training and consulting services to the business community (may include assessment of human resource, marketing, capital, and/or facility resources)
  
  

• survey business community needs by industry or business organization – determine immediate and mid-range training and consulting needs of potential clients or targeted industries
  
  

• opportunities analysis – survey and analysis of business community partnership opportunities and characteristics
  
  

• readiness assessment – an organizational analysis related to the service providers capacity to successfully provide training, consulting, and other business-related services to business and industry.  Unlike the resources inventory which assesses available resources, the purpose of this service is to determine an organization’s readiness to successfully deliver services; such readiness may include the commitment of  executive administrators, clearly stated mission, goals, and objectives, internal training needs, and the state of market research.
  
  

• administrative services consultation – a key component in our success as a provider of consulting services to our international partners; consulting with the managers and professionals who will be primarily responsible for the administration, marketing, and delivery of services to business and industry

2.     Consulting Services Provided Directly to Businesses and Industries:        

At times, our international partners prefer that we work together for a period of time to deliver consulting and other business services to a specific client or industry.  An applied partnership project of this nature can serve to facilitate learning how to deliver services effectively.  At the request of our international partner or partners, The Global Workplace will gladly work together to deliver initial services directly to a business/industry client.

• client focus groups – initial information gathering with primary client contacts, managers, and general employees to determine training and non-training-related issues that may affect performance, quality,  customer service, and/or other factors that have an impact on the bottom line

• training needs assessment –  for management to entry-level employees
  
  

• department to department communications audit  -- how employees and departments communicate with one another;  how the nature of  the communication between departments and employees affect work performance and quality issues
  
  

• surveys – customer, market, and employee surveys can provide a wealth of information that can help to sustain a business and increase market competitiveness
  
  

• performance audits – assessing the quantity and quality of work produced helps a company to assess the work efficiency and performance of individuals and work groups, as well as to measure the impact on the organization’s bottom line
  
  

• internal consultant services – finding an internal consultant who can function effectively as a resource for both employees and management can be a difficult task, especially when poor communications among departments or mistrust of management are prominent in a workplace.  The Global Workplace can temporarily fill this internal consultant role, often functioning very effectively by not being associated so easily with management.   More importantly, we can serve to develop an internal employee to fill this important role,  one who will function effectively to enhance the long-term benefit of relations among individuals, work groups, and management.
  
  

• marketing effectiveness surveys & analysis – How well is your marketing budget being spent?  How well do your targeted customer or client bases know your products and services?  What do they think of you?  What is the ROI for your marketing expenditure?  How well developed and successful is your brand recognition?  We help you find cost-effective answers to these questions…answers that help you market more effectively to achieve the results you expect.
