Some workforce training, economic development projects, or
information technology-based projects may fall within the mission of one or more
national or international funding organizations. Projects that can serve as pilot studies, or models that may
be replicated in other countries, states, or cities, may be considered grant
worthy by numerous funding organizations with international program missions.
Partnerships with developing countries
may be of particular interest to organizations with sustainable economic
development interests and missions that are international in scope.
Again projects in one country or area of the world that provide
substantial opportunities for application of successful results elsewhere will
have the greatest potential to attract funding.
The Global Workplace works together with its international
partners to assess needs, to define prospective projects, and to
select those projects with the greatest potential to attract funding interest. After agreeing upon which project or projects to be developed as funding
proposals, we work with our partner(s) to define project responsibilities and
terms of participation.
Although, it is our preference to share much of the proposal
development and submission work with our university and/or government partners.
Our experience tells us that these proposal projects are completed much
more efficiently when all parties are invested through shared responsibility, a
clear vision of what can be achieved, and recognition of the benefits to be
realized. Proposals focused
on specific projects are funded more readily than wide-ranging proposals that
would be more difficult to manage if approved.
The following services will need to be provided either by The
Global Workplace or through a shared division of labors with its partners.
The assignment of responsibility in the development of a proposal and the
subsequent search for funding will vary according to the nature of the project
and available human and technological resources.
