:.Train-the-Trainer

Tourism and hospitality is an important industry in London.

Instructor workshops for local trainers are an important ingredient in the success of our international partnerships.  We train local trainers who, in turn, re-deliver the training to business and industry, as well as train other local experts to present seminars and workshops to employees in our partner countries and organizations.

This optional service is a popular and practical one that strengthens our professional and workforce development partnerships as well as helps to make them very cost-effective.  Such a service can be crucial for large organizations and agencies that must deliver training to substantial numbers of people, repeatedly, and over a period of time.

Components of Train-the-Trainer services include:

1.   Pilot Training Program(s)

We custom-develop and present a pilot training seminar to instructors.  A videotape or DVD of the seminar is made and becomes the property of our client to use as a model for training other local presenters.

2.   The Instructor Workshop

A workshop on effective teaching skills for adults in the workplace is presented to the local team of instructors.  Instructor candidates learn facilitation skills and other presentation techniques that actively involve adult participants in the learning process.

3.   Practice Training with Video Evaluation

All local instructors prepare and present a short module that is videotaped and played back for self-evaluation and critique.  Participation in the videotaped module exercise creates a self-awareness that is in itself a powerful teaching tool.

4.  Managing Assessment and Evaluation Components

Assessment and Evaluation are important aspects in the delivery of successful workforce training.  Participants in this component of the instructor workshop are introduced to the assessment tools and procedures that are an integral part of successful training experiences and learn how to effectively manage the planning and administration of assessment strategies.

See our page entitled Building Relationships for a more comprehensive description of our services related to the effective administration of comprehensive training and consulting services to be marketed and delivered to business and industry as well as to government agencies.
